I am on the other side of Winnipeg.
**cell rings**
"Hello," I say.
"Hi Jada," my boyfriend says. "I was thinking about us and I think it would be best if we broke up."
"Okay," I reply.
I hear his phone hang up.
I hang up too.

Now I am alone in Winnipeg. No family, no friends. They were all killed two years ago on my birthday when a man came and shot them all. I had just lost my apartment because I went broke.

So now I am sitting on the sidewalk. Feeling helpless. Tears begin to overflow from my eyes and run down my face.

"Hey, how are you?" I say.
I give her a small smile while I try to be cheerful even though I'm not.

"I'm fine, but you're not. I can tell a real smile from a fake one. Do tell."

So I tell her all that has happened and when I'm done tears are streaming down my face. She looks surprised and gives me a big hug. I haven't had a hug for so long I almost forgot what one felt like.

After I finished giving her a BIG HUG, I invite her to come to LA with me. after all that has happened, she really deserves it.

I agree and pick up my suitcase. We start walking.
"So where do we go now?" I ask.

"we need to go get you a plane ticket. let's go."

"Okay."
So we go and buy the tickets.
Once we have them we still have 2 hours to look around. So we window shop.

after an hour and a half of window shopping, it was finally time to board the plane.

When they got on, I finally asked the question.
"why were you out there, all alone? why did we lose contact?"

"Well, my family moved away and the years flew by. I was so busy I forgot to call. Then two months ago on my birthday, a man knocked on the door and my dad said he knew him so they let him in and he..." My voice chocked and tears fell from my eyes. "He shot them all," I whispered. "But he looked at me and said you weren't meant to die yet and then he left."And now my boyfriend dumped me and all my money is gone. And that's what's happened to me since we last saw each other."

"well, when we're famous, we'll have tons of money and you'll be laughing at the guy that killed your family. you're part of my family now."

"Thanks Mommy," I say laughing, "Just joking."
I gave her a hug and we got up and headed for the gate.

After an hour, we're in the sky and we're first class baby!

"enjoying the flight so far, miss?" the flight attendant asks me.

"yes, thanks."

I just can't wait till Hollywood!

'Wow, I say smiling, "I've never been on a plane before."
The guy sitting in the row in front of us turns around and smiles at me. "I've never been on a plane before either. My name's Conner." He put his hand out. I shook it and replied, "My name's J.a.d.a, and this is Ashlea."

"Hi, Ashlea, it's nice to meet you!"
"Likewise!"
"haha."

ALL OF A SUDDEN, THIS GORGEOUS BOY TURNS AROUND.

"Who are you talking to?"
"Cody, this is Ashlea and Jad.a. Ashlea, Jad.a, this is my best friend, Cody. And Cody, unless she has a boyfriend, Jad.a belongs to ME."

Cody turns to me:

"Don't worry, I had my eye on this pretty girl."

"Wait, neither of you are taken, are you??"
"Nope!"

"So where are you guys going?"
"We're going to LA. What about you guys?"
"We're going there too!"

The hours flew by as we sat and talked.

Finally the plane landed.

"So where are you guys staying?"
"Um... the Renaissance Hollywood. What about you?"
"Same!"

The girls and guys were really getting closer and closer.

After hours of swimming in the pool, we decide to get out and we decide to get a bite to eat, and it's all up to J.a.d.a. to decide where we go.

We walk down the crowded street.
"How 'bout there?"
"I love that place, good choice."
An englishman seats us and takes our orders. "Jolly good." he says as he walks away.
Me and Conner smile at each other as we wait for our food.
We are interupted by the bang of a gun. I peek around the corner and see the man who killed my family.
I slide under the table just in time. He walks by holding up his gun. "Has anyone seen a J.a.d.a?" He asks in his thick Russian accent.
Everyone shakes their heads. He runs to the door and slams it as he leaves.
I let out a huge sigh and pull myself back to my seat. My friends look at me with fear in their eyes.
"That's the man that killed my family and he's come back to kill me too." My vision goes black and I buckle over and faint.

We decide that it's all up to us to save her!

"Come on, we can hide in the bathroom, you and I."
"If he sees me he'll recognize me."

"Right... I have an idea!"

I open my purse and pull out a baseball cap and some makeup.
After doing her makeup so much that I could barely tell it was her, we put the hat on her.

I hand Cody a piece of paper, with my cell number written on it.

"Call me when he's gone."

"Ok."

J.a.d.a. and I run for the bathroom, and she doesn't even get recognized.

We sat there for about half an hour talking about my life.

I wonder why he's trying to find me?

I promise we won't let him kill you.

*beep beep*

That's my cell.

I answer.

Where are you!
Came a shouting from the reciever.

Um who is this?

You know who it is. Don't you?

I freeze. Quickly I hang up the phone and lean my head against the wall.

He has my number. It's only a matter of time till he finds me!
